I was at school campus on the deliberation day. Right after the deliberation, the Dean of the College of Nursing asked me if I found my name on the original list of graduates that were allowed to take the board examin July 2011. Unfortunately, I didn’t see my name and she said, “See me at my office.” But because it was almost six in the afternoon, I preferred not to. I went home and told my parents ‘bout it. The next morning, I went for counseling, spoke with the officer-in-charge hoping he’ll allow me to take the exam on July.
It was already my turn, I sat in front of him and he said, “Haan nga agsaksakit nakem mo ah.” (Don’t feel so bad huh?)
I replied, “Yes sir, ayos lang uray aniya ti resulta na.”(Yes sir, it’ll be just fine whatever the result is.)
He continued, “Haan ka mabalinnga agexam.” (You can’t take the exam.) He paused and I was hopeless, I just told him that it’s really fine.
Then he spoke again, “Haan ka mabalin ngaagexam nu December ta mabalin ka nga agexam nu July. Adda dagidiay C.I. mo nga nakahandle kanyam idi nga mangibagbaga nga kayam nga ipasa diay board exam.”(You can’t take the exam on December ‘coz you can already take the exam on July. Your clinical instructors believe that you’ll gonna make it.)
Then, I waslike, whoa! So, at least I got my license earlier than expected. It was my time and thank God I figured it out earlier before my time passed by.
